Your role

  • Conduct building condition assessments, surveys, and investigations
  • Analyze building envelope systems including cladding, roofing, and waterproofing
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for rehabilitation projects
  • Perform on-site quality assurance reviews and support contract administration
  • Work closely with project teams and clients to provide technical guidance and recommendations
  • Use infrared thermography and hygrothermal analysis to assess building envelope performance

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Sciences or Civil Engineering; Master’s considered an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in building envelope or building science engineering
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with peers and senior staff
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
  • Security clearance required with willingness to work towards PSC level of Secret Level 2
  • Bilingual abilities in English and French are an asset
  • Access to a vehicle for site visits
