Your role

  • Assist in structural design for retrofits, repairs, and new building additions
  • Analyze existing structures and provide technical recommendations
  • Review contractor work, shop drawings, and construction progress
  • Prepare specifications, reports, and site instructions
  • Attend project meetings and support the Special Projects team in delivery

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; structural specialization is an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering or building science
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and PDF markup software such as Bluebeam
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and collaborators
  • Access to a vehicle for site visits
  • Security clearance required with willingness to work towards PSC level of Secret Level 2
  • Bilingual abilities in English and French are an asset
