Your role

  • Model building envelope elements for construction documents
  • Create and maintain a digital library of typical details and notes for use across projects
  • Maintain and optimize drawing standards for building envelope projects
  • Coordinate with designers to advance project deliverables
  • Issue construction documents, specifications, and change documents in collaboration with the design team
  • Communicate with designers, contractors, clients, and collaborators to support project delivery

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Building Sciences or Architectural Technology
  • 1-3 years of drafting/modeling experience
  • Strong knowledge and ability to use CAD and Revit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs and PDF markup software (e.g., Bluebeam)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; French language abilities are an asset
  • High problem-solving capacity with professional and ethical approach
  • Ability to understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Security clearance required; new employees must work towards PSC level Secret Level 2, with potential future higher-level requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; specialization in structural engineering is an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering with construction administration experience; contractor experience considered an asset
